Hey folks,
I’m very excited to be able to tell you that Canongate, my UK publisher, passed control of rawsharktexts.com over to me last week.
I’ve always been very keen for this to be a living, growing and evolving site and, obviously, no publisher has the time or resources to lend that kind of indefinite support to any single project, so I’m putting my money where my mouth is and taking on the task myself. I can’t wait for you all to see the big changes and developments we (that would be me and our brand new webguy, Paul Wilson) have in store for this place over the coming weeks, months and even years.
We’re going to start by sorting out the issues with this forum. We’ll be taking the message boards down over the weekend to transfer to our new, more robust software, which should solve the spam problems we’ve been having. There should also be some new features here which may give some clues on the shape of things to come.

Hey there,
We've had a few hold ups and compatibility issues in getting up and running, but we're looking to have new stuff (starting with a new forum) soon.

what does "Groups: Shoal" mean? Now i'm curious.
Man... this actually feels like Christmas for me. this is AWESOME. Too bad i'm at work and can't kick around the (NEW) site for hours!!!!

So with the new forum, i'm having troubles changing my profile settings and what-not. I'm trying to change the time settings, because its all screwed up for me. On the forum, today is now, but yesterday is also today... Its crazy. When i go to 'edit profile' it shows a blue page and says something like there's been a problem loading the forum and there's no further info available. There's a try again button, but that doesn't do anything... What should i do next?

Another member was having the same problem the other day. When I tried it, I didn't have any problems. I'll send Steven a quick note and let him know.
