After many drafts, I’ll be speaking to the editor about the final format of our pitch document on Monday eve. Hopefully, we’ll be able to put the final pitch together soon after, then it’ll go off to be approved/declined by the powers that be...

Got a phone call from New York last week, letting me know that Special Project 1 wasn’t going ahead.
This was a big blow, guys. Special Project 1 was seriously exciting for me, and, I think, pretty groundbreaking in terms of the particular medium it was developed for. I was so excited about the things we'd created for it.
Oh well!

For folks of a curious nature -
This was to be an ongoing comic for Vertigo. I planned to start work on it after I'd finished my second novel.
So sad this didn't get off the ground.

Oooh! A comic would've been very interesting! But you say it was pretty groundbreaking in terms of the particular medium it was developed for, what did you mean by that? The story itself, or was it how the comic would've been done?
