Ian's a pretty cool name. Well lets face it, Ian's awesome. But i think i can do pretty good too. I've got 5 (cats that is. Don't laugh). So lets start with Potato (aka Potot, Potatoskins, Potato-meister, Bud, Po tater-tot, ect.) Presley (aka Pres, Preskinator, Girlie) Crystal (Not as inventive as the others, but hey, whose keeping count, eh?) Mr. Christie (aka Mr. C./Mista C, Bud, Cat) And finally, there's Mono (aka... the smelly one, Mono-Aruther, Bowling Ball) If you're wondering, Mono never did have mono (because i don't know if thats possible) but he's black and white, ergo, Monochromatic, resulting in, Mono. Well, there's my input. How about your cat names?

My cat's name is Peach.
My old cat's name was Yoshi.
By the time I die, I would have had a cat named after every one of the nintendo characters ^_^

but the best cat name I ever had was Malcolm... it was only later that we found out that Malcolm was a girl *DOH* but the name had stuck by then :-)

Rather amusingly, the cat I got about 7 years ago is called Clio. I named her after the Muse.

When my dad was a cool-hip-single man he had a cat called 'Capish'. He still hasn't grown out of Italian/gangster movies...

My great-aunt had a cat called Mon Amie (French feminine form of "my friend") and after having the cat for something like 8 years, she found out she was a he. Conveniently enough she just dropped the"e" to get the masculine form.
I keep a list of names I would like to have for a cat some day. I can't have any right now because my mother is allergic to everything, and also is a very animal-hating person. I'm allowed to have a fish, but I am in love with my goldfish, whose name was originally Freddy but has since morphed to Piggy, Pigpig, Piggles, Squigglepig and any other number of derivatives. He likes to eat. He also does tricks, no lie. Anyone wants to hear about my fish love just message me.
Okay, some of my favourites from the list, and yes I did mooch some of these.
Maurice - my own thought, I desperately want a cat with the same personality as Ian, and I would like to call him Maurice) Giggles McLoveydove - I'm sure I saw this one on TV Mr Tibbles - so stereotypically cat-like Dr McNinja - from the popular internet comic series, also the name of my iPod (yes, I name inanimate things too - my plants, my electronics)

We've got(sort of)three cats:
Luci, a little girl brown tabby with extra toes
Tiger, a big orange tabby. Reminds me of Ian
And a huge female, white with grey tabby spots, stray cat we call Goblin. She was living in our very un-space basement during the winter.
Other cats in my past life include: Smokey, who recently passed, Skinny Minnie, Q, Tictac, Fozzy, Nicodeamos, and Sasha.
My cousin's cat is a sweet black and white girly kitten named Rex Lightning.

Just remembered a cat I had when with my ex some time back, We only had him for four years his name was Mr Mojo risin, (Mojo for short) which was of course an anagram of Jim Morrison the lead singer of my all time favourite group. Unfortunatly we had to have him rehoused when we split up (I was told that apparantly he would need to see a cat therapist before being re-homed).
See in black and white, feel in slow motion....
